Gary Talosi has spent the last 31 years as an independent financial advisor who has built a large and successful practice in Port Colborne, Ontario. Gary graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Math and Economics in 1973. After thirteen successful years and several supervisory and management positions with increasing responsibility at John Deere Welland Works, Gary decided to take his career in a different direction and opened his own financial planning practice. Following a few years of sharing an office in Welland with his brother Steve, Gary moved his office to Port Colborne in 1995 and has operated from the same location on Clarence Street since then.
In addition to being the owner/operator of a successful small business, while working primarily as a financial advisor, Gary continued to enhance his corporate experience. He served as a representative of his fellow financial planners on an advisory committee at two of his mutual fund dealers. He also served as a Board member of Canadian First Financial Group, a former publicly traded company on the CDNX. In this capacity, he played an important role in the sale of CFFG to Dundee Wealth Management.
Gary believes that you should give back to the communities where you live and work, so he continues to serve on the board of the Port Colborne Community Fund (part of the Niagara Community Foundation), Mapleview Charities, and the Notre Dame Alumni Association. He has also served as a Trustee on both English language school boards in the Niagara Peninsula.
Mr. Talosi brings a varied background, in addition to his financial planning expertise, to his role as a Director, significant shareholder, and Vice President of Lifestyle Wealth Inc., a company recognized for enhancing the lifestyle of individuals, families, organizations, and their employees.
